DJ Vjay enjoys his passion of bringing together two exclusively unique music genres of Bollywood and Electronic Dance Music together. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, his versatile style of mixing comfortably between varying genres ranging from South Asian music (Bollywood, Punjabi) to Top40, Dance music, House music and EDM makes him stand out.

FROM THE BEGINNING

​Deciding to take his passion for Bollywood and EDM music to the next level, DJ Vjay enrolled in Capital DJ Academy, Ottawa and is a proud graduate from the Institute.
He began by first releasing his mixes online, to which the audience took an immediate liking. His talent was sought after by local event management companies and that led him to play at various club events across Ottawa. And that was the start! 

​THE JOURNEY SO FAR

DJ Vjay has provided his DJ services and music at various cafés (Café Nostalgica, Lago Bar & Grill), lounges (Mercury Lounge, Kinki), clubs (Kavali, Eve, Bourbon Room, City At Night), wedding receptions, private parties and community events across different venues in Ottawa. 
He has been featured on the Mirch Masala Radio in Ottawa multiple times, as well as the BBC Asian Network Radio, UK.
Most recently, DJ Vjay was a huge hit at Toronto's largest South Asian Music Concert - Desifest 2017, and Ottawa's South Asian Fest.
His passion for music shows in his work as he continues to deliver on his promises at the various events.
